A river flow monitor tool to alert for extreme low river flow and zero flow using remote sensing. The Alerts allow for timely action to prevent or reduce the period of Zero flow in most of the Ruaha National Park. For Ruaha River (Tanzania) the Monitor will be active from April with the prediction of the first Zero Flow Event until the occurrence of the Rains.
